We are Maurice and Sunny, 28 and 32 respectively and we are looking for one more person to live with us in our 3BR Stuytown apartment.
Quick Facts:
-Room is unfurnished
-Entire unit is freshly painted and redecorated
-1 BR avail February 1 in a 3BR apt in the east village
-Large window with NEW A/C
-Blocks away to 1st Ave L train / 20 minute walk to Union Square/ 15 min walk to Trader Joe’s
-Laundry and bike storage in building
-Dishwasher
-Elevator building
-1 shared bathroom
-Apt has a WFH set up (a nice separation from work and life)
-Kitchen fully furnished with pots and pans etc.
Rent will be $1750 which will include all utilities (internet, water, gas, electricity, and all-day AC) Upon move in we ask for 1st month's rent plus last month’s rent for a total of $3500. You will be set up with your own key card entry to the building and a set of keys.
We’re currently working from home so ideally, the new roommate would be laidback and an open communicator. The roommates also have movie nights so please be social and down to hang out.
Our apartment strongly supports the Black Lives Matter movement. We consider this a safe, judgment-free, supportive, LGBTQ+ accepting environment, and we ourselves are connected with the larger NYC LGBTQ+ community.
MAURICE (door #1)
Maurice is an Art Director for a publishing house, who has lost control over the distinction between work and life. He’s a couch potato—bingeing the never-ending amount of content that keeps coming up. Currently watching Hannibal, the main character’s sensual approach to cooking has inspired him to go back to cooking food that’s not from the frozen section of Trader Joe’s. He pretends to eat healthier by buying more vegetables but never eats them. That being said, the veggies are up for grabs. He also has friends come over for dinner and you're more than welcome to join!
SUNNY (door # 2)
Sunny is a Web Developer in the advertising industry. He is currently studying to become a software engineer. He is quiet and drama-free. He enjoys all the Marvel movies, paintball, a variety of other action sports. He recently started playing ping pong with our neighbors and he's well on his way to becoming a pro. He also cooks a mean steak.
Give us a shout and let us know if you are interested! We look forward to hearing from you. Photos are not the best so let us know when you'd like to set up a time to walk through the apartment and meet us.
