Looking for someone to take over 1 Bedroom in a 2 Bedroom apartment near Union Square. The apartment was newly renovated last year before I moved in and still feels very fresh and clean. The apartment has a great layout, high ceilings, and each bedroom as two true windows. The bedroom available has one true closet, and there is also a hallway closet for coats, shoes etc. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and is great for someone who likes to cook more than go out.
The building is small with just 16 units, and the neighbors truly have formed a community (we even have our own group chat!). Everyone is in their late 20s/early 30s so the building stays pretty quiet most of the time. I?ve lived here for a year, and would like to stay here for the foreseeable future with the right roommate.
I work in events, so try to keep things quiet during the week but like to go out on the weekends. Overall like to keep the space a relaxing/tranquil escape from the city and work and looking for someone with a similar mindset. Also, cleanliness is a must.
Rent: $1600
Electric: $60-70, depending on time of year
Internet: $25
Due at signing: First, Last, and Security
Application process - as you will be taking over the lease, you will need to formally apply with the building. Requirements are:
Photo ID
Employment letter
Two most recent bank statements
Two most recent paystubs
Two most recent tax returns
Landlord reference letter (If applicable)
$40 application fee
