We are three friends who met bartending in a restaurant years ago, now we are a policy organizer, a nurse and a nonprofit worker. We have lived in the same beautiful four bedroom apartment in West Harlem for years. We're seeking a short term roommate, length of stay flexible.
Our apartment: 4 bedroom 2 bathroom with a large open living room/kitchen (with dishwasher). Corner unit with a view of the river. Bedroom on offer is furnished with a queen bed and mattress. $1,300 rent includes utilities, cable/internet, and housekeeping.
Location: On the same block as the 137th Street stop on the 1 train, and short walk from the B/C at 135th street. Across from Riverbank State Park and 2 groceries nearby.
Us: We are one couple and a good friend who have lived together for years. We're nonsmokers, two sometimes drinkers, one sober, enjoy cooking, politics, outdoor/athletic activities. We're communal in nature (particularly food) but respect everyone's space. Important note: during COVID-19 two of us are essential workers (nurse and social services), so we're seeking a short term roommate that is okay with exposure, ideally also essential personnel. Travel healthcare workers especially welcome!
You: Open to one roommate or a couple (additional rent) for a short term stay, flexible term, possible to extend. No smokers whatsoever. No pets. LBGTQ+ friendly a must. Prefer laid back, open communication, communal attitude, respectful of personal space.
