My apartment is a one bedroom converted to a two bedroom, and while the shared living space is somewhat small, but the room is BIG. The room is fully furnished, and there's still space to bring some of your own things. In the room:

-Very large closet with plenty of room to store out-of-season clothing
-Oversized picture window with view of the Hudson River

The apartment faces Riverside Drive, so you don't have to worry about side street noise.
