The bedroom is a quiet 150 sq. ft. room with a half bath in the rear of a three-bedroom pre-war building at W.143rd St. and Broadway. It is at the rear of the unit off the kitchen facing the airshaft. The building is a co-op and the owner, who is a teacher and creative artist, has lived there for 28 years and works from home. The kitchen and public spaces are open to the renter. The neighborhood is historic, vibrant, eclectic and convenient. The A, B, C, D & #1 trains and the M4, M5, M3, M11, M100, M101 and Bx19 buses are just a few minutes' walk from the building. The vibe of the house is mellow, intellectual and cultural and we seek someone similar. We believe roommates should be friendly and open but give each other their individual space. My current roommate has been with me for six years.
