I am a mid-50’s gay male: single, sane, sorted, & sober. I don’t drink, smoke, or use drugs. I am friendly and sociable yet respectful of others’ space. I am seeking a professional gay-friendly housemate who is also a non-smoker and who doesn’t use drugs or drink excessively. I am cool with alcohol on the premises. I keep a very tidy living space in common areas of the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. I am seeking someone who has shared values around the cleanliness of shared spaces, especially the bathroom and kitchen. I maintain a shoes-off policy inside the apartment.

The room is small, but the location is prime. I live on the 2nd floor of a 4-story walk-up and within a 10-15 min walk of Lincoln Center, Columbus Cir., Times Sq., Broadway, Central Park, & Bryant Park. There is easy access to the C, E trains via 50th St. or 42nd St. MTA stations. The room has a bunkbed with a built-in desk below which is optional. The room is small and is more suited for someone who either commutes or who just needs a base in Manhattan.

I travel for work and am typically away 1-2 nights per week. I require a modest deposit of $1200 to move in. Rent is monthly and paid on the 1st of each month. Thank you for your interest.
