Beginning in February, I moved into a beautifully updated 3-Bedroom apartment in Central Harlem. It was a last minute decision at the time, but I absolutely LOVED this place! Upon taking over the lease from a friend, I was told the lease would be up in June of this year, with the possibility of renewing. I already have someone great coming on to the lease in one of the two other bedrooms…now just looking for a someone great that wants to take the third bedroom…with its own private FULL BATHROOM!
The first room is MASSIVE…literally he size of some studio apartments I’ve seen - $1350
The second room isn’t as big, but has an outdoor balcony & private bath - $1325
So they both have their own strong points!
I actually had a friend that wanted it up until recently, but they decided to stay put im their current place, kinda last minute…So, I’m on the lookout for an awesome, like-minded, LGBTQ+ friendly, & dependable person that would like to take over the other huge room in this beautiful place, and join me on the lease by July 1st! 😄
I'm a photographer & high-end photo retoucher, and all around multimedia artist…and a big people person, I’m definitely open to being friendly with my roomies.👍🏼
The apartment is located at 9 East 124th Street, in a beautiful refinished Brownstone, right across from the Beautiful & Scenic “Marcus Garvey Park.” Whole Foods, Planet Fitness, Rite Aid, CVS, and MANY other staples are just a minute or two walking distance from the apartment building as well. Among the many perks & features here, this building is uniquely located 4 blocks walking distance from the West Side 2/3 train on the Red Line AND 4 blocks the opposite direction to the East Side 4/5/6 trains on the Green Line….if you’re a well versed New Yorker, you know that is very rare! LoL
The building has laundry conveniently located in the basement of the building, and video conferencing available with the door buzzer, which comes in very handy. Also, I’ve noticed that this location is very removed from the loud hustle & bustle of most centrally located Manhattan apartments.
The kitchen is fantastic here, new appliances & finishes, complete with a brand new microwave & dishwasher. I’ve attached images of the Kitchen, bathroom, hallways, and inside both of the available bedrooms. There’s also an open living room area alongside the kitchen, but haven’t furnished it yet, as I’d love to do that with those that do decide to come onto the lease and join the household!
The room is a GREAT size 10 x 17…though it isn’t as big as the front facing room my friend is taking, it has access to a large private balcony overlooking the backyard AND of course, a newly finished & private full bathroom.
The size of the rooms, finishings, location, and more have made this place a house that I’m eager to make a home…and great roomies will certainly affirm that. The owner of the building, Sam, is a great guy and extremely accommodating.
