Description
This is a weekday-only share.
The apartment is a large (450sf actual) furnished alcove studio i
near Penn Station in a great building with doormen, elevator, great views...tastefully appointed.
My wife (artist) and I (architect) use the apartment on weekends and want to share it with someone that lives outside of Manhattan but needs a place to stay weeknights-only on a long term basis. You would have the apartment alone on the nights that you stay and visa-versa.
If you think this matches your needs, contact me. It has worked great for our last tenant who was a college professor that lived out of state. He was able to keep his clothes and belongings, get his work done and go home to his family on weekends.
The apartment is newly painted and furnished including a bed, and a fold-out couch, tables chairs...(all IKEA simple, clean...) You would have closet/cabinet space, internet, and general comfort and familiarity on the days you stayed here instead of a long commute.
The perks (reasons we like this location and apartment):
- 5-minute walk from Penn station or Bolt/Mega Bus at either end of our commute to NY
- tons of light and distant views from upper floor windows
- big enough (450 sf) to actually do things like catch up on work, watch tv, have a meal... without rearranging the apartment in between.
- 2 blocks from____________(fill in the blank)
The unit is clean, sun-filled, in a well-run building near Penn Station, High Line, Hudson Yards, and the A, C, E, and 7 lines.
