The room comes semi-furnished with a desk, chair, and a bookshelf. There is a built-in closet. Room can come 100% unfurnished if needed. Room fits a full or queen bed.

Hardwood floors, high ceilings, stainless steel appliances, renovated marble bathrooms, and a large common living area that is warm and inviting. Bonus amenities are an in-apartment washer/dryer, a dishwasher. and a fully-stocked kitchen with everything a discerning cook would need, Amazon firetv. There is a lovely fire escape that we set up and sit in in better weather.

The building is on West 125th and Broadway, less than 2 minutes to the 1 train. Directly on the street is a Duane Reade, a C-Town Supermarket, a wine store, a deli/bodega, and a general medical and dentist's office. Within a 10-minute walk are Riverside Park, several restaurants, supermarkets, banks, and mom and pop businesses that serve the neighborhood. The A, B, C, D trains and the Harlem commercial district is about 15-minutes away. Location wise, it just can't be beat. It's also walking-distance to Columbia, Barnard, and MSM.

I travel a lot for work so when I am home I am pretty chill. I work from home in the living room and afterwards I hang out in my room. Roommate is a grad student at NYU.

We do not smoke or do drugs. We like to keep the apartment clean and well-stocked, so we clean as we go and take turns buying supplies. We pay bills on time, have an open communication style, and are considerate of each other's time, space, and needs. We are seeking someone with similar values who is willing to contribute to the household --replace the toilet paper roll if you use it up or almost use it up, take out the trash, clean not just your own room but the common spaces too-- but also be okay that we don't always hang out and generally keep to ourselves.

To move in, we would require the first month's rent and 1-month's deposit. We would also ask you to sign a Roommate Agreement.
