This is a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and stores. 15-minute train ride to Midtown Manhattan, a 5-minute walk to Central Park, 10-minute walk to the Columbia campus. The bldg. has video intercom, a doorman, small gym, and laundry. AC in every room, wi-fi, dishwasher and microwave. Wi-fi is free and a normal electric bill is $30 but AC use will increase that.
