July 1 Looking for a 3rd for lease in amazing area

My roommate is sadly leaving for BK, so we have an open room available! for a roommate to renew lease for July 1st. Have been here 3 years and love this apt and location. We have one open room. Other roommate is male A25 and just moved here from the UK, works at Google, we are both very relaxed and clean. 24 hr doorman, washer/dryer in the unit (absolute lifesaver) as well as a full laundry room on the 2nd floor as well as a dishwasher. We have all living room furniture taken care of. We rarely use the living room, but it’s got a couch, recliner, and bar stools. The building itself has a gym, Peloton room for minimal extra cost (Would split amongst 3 if we decided to do it).

The location is unbeatable, less than a block Pier 26 and Grand Banks, tons of great restaurants and bars, about 3 blocks to 123 line and 3 blocks to ACE line. Absolutely love living here - it’s an incredible opportunity to live in an amazing neighborhood. Whole Foods and Target are a few blocks away and there is a convenient 24 hr Duane Reade around the corner. In the summer, you’re a block from City Vineyard, a large park for laying out, beach volleyball, and a large dog park, and not to mention your opportunities to spot some very famous neighbors. When it’s warm I walk to Soho or love having friends over to lay out in the park.

There will be a very sweet dog in the apt (mine), she’s quiet and doesn’t shed. She’s very affectionate and always available for snuggling. I primarily take care of her and do not expect roommates to do so, but a dog lover would be great and you’re welcome to hang with her all you want, and she is a great running partner, though she typically stays in my room.

The bathroom is full size and shared but I do not monopolize the bathroom in the mornings. I do not use the bathroom for putting on makeup or getting ready, so ideally prefer a male or female that is quick in and out.

Living room is small but adequate, great kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher with bar counter and barstools, but we don’t frequently use the common spaces. The view in the photo is from the water a block away. The room itself is small, but can fit a queen bed and some furniture. I think the smart TV which is already mounted will stay as well.

Building requires background check and proof of 40x rent. This is likely to fill quickly so please reach out ASAP if you are interested!

Unfortunately I cannot do short term sublets! Please only message if you are able to sign a 12 month lease beginning July 1st. I don’t own the apartment and my current lease is up 6/30 - we need to find someone ASAP, so we are looking for someone who can commit.

Furniture may be for sale in the available room so if you need a furnished apt let me know ASAP so we can work out details. Though there is not a closet in the bedroom, you have a full size one for you in the hall, and the room fits a wardrobe (I got mine at ikea for around $100 and it’s perfect).
