Room for rent in an Upper East Side two-bedroom, less than 2 blocks from the 4/5/6 Subway and Express Bus at 86th St/Lexington Ave, plus the Q at 86th St and 2nd. Third floor walk-up with shared bathroom, kitchen/dining area and small living room. Bedroom has hardwood floors, great afternoon light and is very quiet. Neighborhood is very safe and secure, and there are multiple grocery stores, pharmacies, bars, cafes, laundry, and shopping all within a couple of blocks.

Looking for someone to sublet starting for May (exact move in date is flexible), for 6 months.. Rent is $1325 a month plus approximately $165/month for utilities (ConEd, cable/internet, cleaning). One months security, including utilities, is required up front, which will be returned to you at the end of the sub-lease.

No drugs, no smokers please. No pets, unfortunately - I like them but I don't think they're allowed in the building.
