This is an ideal place for a person who wants a cozy, and STUDIOUS PLACE to live -- no drama or stress. Looking for ONE roommate only. Apartment is not suitable for more than two people.

Share available in a completely furnished apt: 2-bedroom, 1½ bathrooms, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and ceiling fan.

Roommate's room is a small loft bedroom, furnished with a bed, desk, chair, lamps, bureau, bookcase and fan. Roommate's closet (88"H x 65"W x 27"D) also has 5 drawers in it. Apartment is not suitable for any additional furniture. Roommate needs only supply own linen (blankets, sheets, towels, etc.) and pillows. Access to the loft is by a loft ladder. (See photos.) Share common areas: full bathroom, small kitchen and high-ceiling dining room. Laundry-room in building.

NEIGHBORHOOD: UES, Safe, busy neighborhood includes: Central Park, Museum Mile, East River promenade, many supermarkets, restaurants, banks, bars, Starbucks, Fairway, Whole Foods, H&M, Barnes & Noble, Staples, Best Buy, etc. Ten minutes bus ride to the East River Plaza shopping mall: Target, Costco, Burlington Coat, etc. Gyms: Equinox, New York Sports Club, Asphalt Green, and the 92nd St Y..

TRANSPORTATION: Walking distance to Mount Sinai Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital.

Trains: Rockefeller University, Weill Cornell-New York Presbyterian Hospital, and Sloan-Kettering are 2 stops/5 minutes away on the Q (2nd Avenue) train line. Q train takes you to Times Square, Union Square, and to Coney Island. Other subway lines: 4, 5, 6 (15 minutes to Grand Central station).

Bus lines: United Nations and Hunter College are a convenient bus ride away on the No: 15 bus. Other buses: 31, 101, 102, 103 and crosstown buses to Westside 86 and 96.

Rent: $800 + 1/2 electricity (varies +/- $35 per month). Rent includes WiFi and internet access. Security deposit $800 To move in: security deposit of $800.
