The Space

1000 a month- unfurnished room available in a two bedroom apartment in Washington Heights, just a few blocks from the A & 1 train and the M100 & Bx7 bus.
New lease is for August 1st (open to later move in date with prorated rent for the first month). We are on the 2nd floor of a 6 story building. The apartment is in the back of the building which keeps it fairly cool and quiet. It has a decent sized kitchen, entrance hallway, spacious living room and one bathroom. There is laundry located in the basement. There is also an elevator in the building.

About Me:
You will be sharing the apartment with myself, Alyssa (25) and Louie the Cat. I currently work at small museum in SOHO and am a graduate student at a CUNY school. Louie (3) is a Tuxedo rescue- happy being the king of the apartment. He?s quiet and relaxed and is open to some attention on his terms.
I am friendly and outgoing. I like to keep a fairly calm and quiet space. No issues with visitors and overnight guests within reason. For the most part I clean as a go, I usually clean more extensively one day out of the week.
