Large, Sunny and Furnished Harlem Room

Available August 1st, 2021.

Hi everyone! I'm renting one large, sunny room in central Harlem (10 E. 129 St). The room currently contains a full bed, desk/WFH setup, and dresser. It also has a huge closet. Can remain furnished or come vacant. I have two, year old Shiba Inu puppies, so must love dogs :)

We're looking for someone who is kind, considerate, thoughtful, reasonably tidy, and friendly.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms total in the apartment, so you'd be sharing a bathroom with one other person. I (29, she/her, public interest lawyer) live in the third bedroom with my boyfriend Joe (31, he/him, massage therapist). We all share a (very!) spacious kitchen and plant-filled living room. We have Hulu! Netflix! Disney+! Prime Video! Spectrum! Etc! mooched off of various friends and family members.

The apartment is located approximately a 5 minute walk from the 2/3/4/5/6 subway lines and also the Metro North train at 125th street, so commuting anywhere is really easy.
We are located right next to a rose garden, in a small building where we are friends with the neighbors (9 of us in total). The building has a great community vibe and everyone is friendly-- some have described it as a dorm for adults, haha. We try to have community events every other week. Most of us in the building are partially or fully vaccinated. Fun fact: we also have a recording studio in the basement for the musically inclined and roof access, if you don't mind climbing a ladder.

Internet is included, and utilities (electricity and gas) is split per bedroom (3-ways).

No cigarette smokers, please.
