20 MINUTES TO MIDTOWN Manhattan west (59TH ST. /COLUMBUS CIRCLE), 25 minutes to Times Square & 35 minutes to the West Village (West 4th Street)! Super-convenient if you are on the west side of Manhattan.

We are 6 blocks from the A & 1 trains, and 2 blocks from the C train.

This apartment is 10 minutes to the Manhattan School of Music, the Jewish Theological Seminary & Columbia University. 15 minutes to the Upper West Side. It is not! convenient if you work or study on the east side.

There is just one roommate, me. I am a 39-year-old female, fluent in French. I am a teacher who does some acting & singing. Yale grad from 100 years ago.

The room is cozy with soaring ceilings. It measures 72 square feet (8 feet by 9 feet). Or 6. 7 square meters (about 2. 4 by 2. 7 meters). So this is a good place for someone who does not have a lot of stuff, or who wants the room short-term (less than one year).

This is also a 2-bedroom. Most - if not all - of the prewar 2-bedroom apartments in Washington Heights & the Upper West Side are set up this way, with one very large and one little room. So this is also a good option for people who don?t want to have to share a bathroom with 10 other people + their significant others.
