Fully Furnished Room in Washington Heights

Hi everyone,

I’m a choreographer and my roommate is a foreign dancer who is stuck in The Netherlands until September. Perhaps longer depending on how this pandemic plays out. I can't afford to pay the rent alone.

I am looking to fill a big fully furnished room in Washington Heights. The rent is $1,180.41 plus ½ of utilities. The rent is the rent but in THESE times I'm willing to work with you to make this work. The room is in a big apt thats off the 157 stop of the 1 train. It is available to move in immediately. There is also a shared dining and living room. Lots of natural light and ability to be alone and find quiet time as well as socialize and cheer out the window at 7:00 PM.

I'm hoping to find someone who is looking for something short term but open to long term if our chemistry works out. Ideally, you have something that keeps you busy but you are not opposed to hanging out occasionally.
Preferably, you are responsible and strategically cautious about COVID-19. Not overly paranoid, but willing to take the steps to sanitize and not spread the virus. FYI, the apt is close to NY Presbyterian Medical Center @ 168 St., City College, and Columbia University.

I am a single gay man who has lived in 4 countries and done an extensive amount of travel. I can be as friendly or as distant as our chemistry and needs dictate. I am a pretty diplomatic "live and let live" type of guy. I work from home and am usually focused on that. But it's getting kind of lonely so having a conversation would do my spirit some good. My plants and I are fighting at the moment.
