Residential neighborhood feels safe to walk home at night from subway. Spacious 12x17 bedroom is at opposite sides of the apartment with the other bedroom, so feels private. Room gets lots of sunlight. Well-maintained elevator building, laundry room with new machines in the basement, and live-in building staff.

Express A train station is three blocks away (22 minutes to Columbus Circle) and the 1 train station and buses are nearby. Short subway ride to NY Pres Hospital, Columbia and City College. Peaceful Ft Tryon Park and the Cloisters are a short walk away. Chase bank, restaurants, bars and several supermarkets (including a specialty grocery) close by.

You’ll be sharing with one other roommate – I'm a female who likes to cook, read and travel and treats the apt as a place to unwind and recharge in off hours. I work from home as a project manager five days a week.
