On very quiet Morton Street in the West Village I have a room for rent in awesome apartment! Tucked away on a quiet tree lined street is this 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment that I have leased starting September 1st and that will run for 12 months until August 31, 2020. The apartment will be completely unfurnished and any furniture you see in the pictures will be gone, it is the current tenants. Looking for someone in their mid to late 20s that wants to share this apartment and live in this awesome neighborhood. Since there was no broker fee on the unit, the only costs are the $1900 security deposit and $1900 for the first months rent that will start September 1st. The room for rent easily fits a queen bed and dresser and also has a good size closet with storage above. The room faces the back courtyard and is super quiet with a big window and built-in AC unit. Both bedrooms are also at opposite ends of the place which is great for privacy. Apartment has dry cleaners and washer/dryers right around the corner. Dishwasher, oven, full fridge, granite counters, and microwave that are all new as well as plenty of cabinet space. There are also new ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area.

About Me:

I?m originally from the Boston area but will be moving to New York to start a new job in software sales after working for a tech company in San Francisco the past 3 years. I?m 26 and like to go out for happy hours with friends but will only really be going out late one day of the weekend. Definitely not the type to bring the party home.

About You:

I?m looking for a roommate that is respectful and wants to contribute toward making this place a home. We don?t have to be best friends but ideally someone moving in will be friendly and want to watch a movie or hangout in the common space every once in a while. From Sunday to Thursday ideally you keep it low key and are working a M-F job. As far as house rules, I?m pretty easy to live with but don?t want someone who would smoke inside the unit or have parties at the apartment.
