The room being rented is a true bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. The bedroom faces the back of the house (we're on the Avenue here), the bedroom has two roomy closets, a private half-bath and can comfortably fit a full/queen bed. The shared living room and kitchen space are connected with the main bathroom at the end of the hallway. The place is super comfortable, has furnishings (open to redecorating) and gorgeous exposed brick. The other tenants of the building are super respectful, quiet, and kind. There is no laundry in the building but the nearest laundromat is on same block two doors down. Street parking is not included with rent but an option for those with cars

Looking for a queer-friendly roomie who can respect one another's privacy but also enjoys company and shared space. I am a gay male working professional for a media agency in Flatiron. I work 9:30 - 6:00 Monday - Friday and am often with friends and family in my spare time. Ideally you are able to pay bills, respect the space, and keep the apartment and shared spaces tidy. I also have a kitten so people with allergies to cats need not apply.

The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, shopping, and has easy access to multiple lines of public transportation. The 96th St Q stop is across the street, the 96th St 6 line is around a 5 minute walk along with the M15 bus line which runs down 2nd Avenue. The neighborhood is continuing to grow and become a new hot spot for businesses as the opening of the Q has revived this neighborhood.
