Home Match: How it Works
The Home Match journey begins with an application: one for home owners and one for home seekers. Applicants undergo a complete criminal background screen as well as a tenant screening that looks at financial and eviction history. Both home owner and home seeker complete interview with program staff to determine compatibility. Once matched, the individuals involved complete a ?Living Together Agreement? that looks very much like a traditional rental agreement but also details how to handle situations of potential conflict before they arise. The agreement is also month-to-month so there is no long-term commitment.
