Room for rent - available August 1

Summary: I am looking for someone to take over my roommate's soon-to-be vacant bedroom in a 2BD/1BA apartment in Chevy Chase, MD. The common areas of the apartment (living room/dining area/etc.) are furnished, but the bedroom itself will be unfurnished (and has a sizable closet for what it's worth). We will have to share a bathroom/kitchen/common areas, but that's par for the course. No smokers please. Water and trash are included in the rent, but the remaining utilities (gas, electricity, internet, etc.) are not and will be split (amounts may vary per month based on usage). You will also be subject to a background/credit check and an application fee if you sign a lease.

About the complex: The apartment complex is located between the Silver Spring and Friendship Heights Metro stations and has Ride On stops going in either direction right outside the complex. A free residential parking permit for one car is included, but parking spaces are not assigned. Overall, it's a peaceful place to live.

I am an introverted working professional who enjoys relaxing at home after a long work day/week as well as a fun night out with friends. I am friendly and pretty laid back after we've gotten to know each other, but more than anything, I am just looking for a roommate who can be respectful, considerate, and able to pay the rent in a timely fashion.
