Cute room in downtown Portland!

One room available in a cute, small, clean 2BR in downtown Portland. It’s centrally located and very walkable! Close to Tandem, the PMA. Rent controlled building, $853.50/ month. Utilities included except electric and WiFi.

You’d be taking over my half of a year-long lease, (which started May 1) and will need a credit score of at least 680. No cosigners unfortunately.

The space is quite small but has two stories, the ground level with the kitchen and living room, the top level with the bedrooms and bathroom between them. The available room is in the back of the building and has a large closet. The shared bathroom has a bathtub and a washer/dryer. Only street parking at the moment, although a lot space may open up for an additional $100/month.

The common areas are partially furnished, but since we just moved in it's not fully decorated yet. There is space for a couch if you have one.

The space is great and so is the building management but I am very sensitive to sound and the walls are thin, so I’m not sleeping well and have to move again :( The neighbors are very kind but have young children so there is running around, etc. This spot is best for a good sleeper and/or early riser. Or someone who is just more used to normal apartment city noise :)

You’d be living with one introverted, quiet, respectful 29-year old woman and her cat, Bella (who is a bit scared but cute when she warms up!) My roommate works out of the house 3-4 days a week and gives a few weekly Zoom piano lessons from the living room but these are not very disruptive.
