Hi! I just bought and moved into a new townhome. Looking for an individual roommate. Women or nonbinary applicants only, please!
Utilities and internet included. $1000 a month rent. Start date flexible. Would prefer someone looking to stay long-term but will accept a 1-year agreement. I can provide references for former roommates if needed and would like if you can do the same.
ABOUT THE PLACE:
You would have a private bedroom, your own full bathroom, use of a furnished loft space as a primary living area with room to set up a TV if desired, and shared laundry - all on the second floor. You'll just need to furnish your bedroom. The home has a two-car garage, so one space will be yours with overhead storage allocated for bins/suitcases, etc.
The shared kitchen, dining, and powder room are downstairs. You'll have the two largest cabinets to store your food and any kitchen stuff you'd like. Dishes, pots and pans, and small appliances are all available for sharing. Appliances are all new with the home (gas range if you're a foodie!), and a second fridge in the garage for overflow. The home has a Ring Alam system and doorbell for security and other convenience features. HOA takes care of lawn and snow removal.
Located convenient to 35W with a 25-minute commute to downtown Minneapolis. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby - this is a growing area. There are at least three grocery options within five minutes!

I'm a woman in my 30s with a professional career working from home 8-4 pm. I like to read and watch TV in the evenings. I love board and card games so bonus if you occasionally like to do those things too! I've been friends with roommates in the past and friendly with others. Happy with either! Would like someone with a similar low-key lifestyle.
I do have an indoor cat so you must not be allergic. No animals of your own, please.
I'm a "keep it clean" person. I do have a bit of clutter about sometimes but I don't like dishes to sit in the sink and that sort of thing. I think that just makes it easier to share common spaces.

Ideally, you also work full-time making at least 3x the rent per month after tax (est. minimum annual salary 46k or $22/hour). Clean record. No pets. Non-smoker. And not a heavy drinker especially at home.
