Large bedroom and private bath in the Ironbound

Private master bedroom, an adjacent work space, and a private bathroom in the Ironbound for $1,200 (utilities included). It’s an unfurnished space. My home is close to Newark Penn station (about a 15 min walk), ferry st, the airport (10 mins by car) and much more.

The Ironbound is a family friendly area and very safe.

About me: I am a 31 year old woman and I will be living in the home with you. I am an attorney who works three days out of the week in Manhattan and two days remotely at home. I am respectful of people’s personal space, and I try to work through conflict collaboratively because I want to make sure anyone who is in my home feels like they are being treated with respect.

Who I’m looking for: someone who will work with me to keep the common areas clean, won’t bring the party home, and who is considerate of others. I don’t mind the occasional guest, but no parties, and no couples. I am open to people of all races, religions, and sexual orientation. I prefer a long term roommate, someone who can stay for at least one year. But summer subletting will be considered.

Must be employed or in school and must have good credit and references.
