Must Love Dogs

Hi, I have a private bedroom for rent in my house, and in addition, you have a private bath in the finished basement. The basement also has a kitchenette and dining/living space for your use. Although I come downstairs occasionally, it is your space to use as you wish for eating and hanging out. The kitchenette has a full sized fridge and a microwave, but you can cook upstairs on the main floor.

I have three rescue dogs and am looking for a great roommate who will be kind to them, and in addition, take on the minimal responsibility of letting them out into the fenced yard when you are home (literally just opening the dog door). I work in the city and am gone long hours. The safety and comfort of my dogs is my top priority.

My house is super cute and in a good neighborhood. There is a park at one end of the street, and the bus to NYC comes on the other end. It's also close to Montclair, Livingston, Roseland, and 280. I am friendly and easy to get along with, and am hoping to find a roommate who appreciates that my house provides plenty of private space, yet who also would like to socialize some.

I had selected a roommate and she moved in, only to leave after a month because we were not on the same page with guests. So, I have to put it in writing and make sure a roommate understands that I do not want any overnight guests in my home. I am looking for someone who needs a place to 'hang their hat' and have a safe, nice place to live, not someone who needs a place to entertain. I realize that my place may not be for everyone with the dogs and with the overnight guest restriction, but I have faith the right fit for me is out there! I do enjoy having a roommate!
