Room Available in JC Apartment

Hi all! I'm looking for a new roommate to join me in my beautiful, spacious 2 bedroom + den apartment in Jersey City.

The apartment was renovated just before I moved in two years ago and is bright, clean, and sunny. It is a total of 850 sq ft. The bedroom for rent is 130 sq ft and easily fits a queen bed.

I'm a high school English teacher, which means I get up early and go to bed early. I like to drink tea, read books, bake bread, and be outside on sunny days. I have a soft soft for period dramas on TV. When I have friends over, its for small dinner parties or knitting gatherings.

I'm looking for a roommate that keeps common spaces tidy (your room is your business), might look forward to chatting a little bit at the end of the day but is okay doing their own thing too, and willing to keep any rowdiness outside the apartment.

-2nd floor apartment in a duplex with live-in landlord
-Plenty of on-street parking in the neighborhood
-Free washer & dryer available in basement
-Additional storage available in basement (no additional cost)
-Central heat and AC
-Backyard space shared with downstairs neighbors
-3rd bedroom/den currently used for storage that I'm hoping to turn into a reading/study/craft room.
-Living room decor and furniture is in flux -- if you have living room furniture, let's see if it'll fit in the space!
