One bedroom fully furnished apt for rent and 10-15 minute bus ride into Part Authority Bus Terminal at 40th Street and 8th Ave. Located on Kings Bluff in Weehawken, NJ, overlooking the Hudson River into Mid-Town/Time Square area in Manhattan.

APARTMENT DESICRIPTION:
This informal elegant decoratated apartment is on a 2nd floor, approx 1700 sq feet, in an 1890 Victorican home with a useable wrap around porch. There is a private entrance foyer, sitting room/sunroom, dining room/eat in kitchen, one full bathroom (with shower/tub) and half bathroom. The bedroom gets plenty of light and the apartment is very quiet.

LOCATION:
In the exclusive neighborhood of Kings Bluff in Weehawken, NJ on a quiet tree lined street with other houses of families, students, and professionals. You are centrally located for Manhattan, Hoboken,
Jersey City, Newark and West NY and North Bergen. It is a twenty minute ride to Newark International Airport. (Use this airport when flying in and out.) You are a 10 minute walk to the central Weehawken Shopping Center for groceries, wine, laundrymat/drycleaners and excellent restaurants

TRANSPORTATION:
There is a bus stop 1 minute from apartment, two different bus lines arriving approximately every 15 minutes. Lots of street parking and apartment has parking authority tags. It takes 10 - 15 minute bus commute on express bus lanes through the Lincoln Tunnel into Port Authority Bus Terminal.

COST:
The bedroom is renting for $1600 per month and this includes utitilties and internet. There is a deposit of $800.. This is for a three month rental. There is a monthy extra fee for housekeeper to come one full day a month.

FOR CLARITY - LANDLADY'S RULES:
My landlady requires at least three month stay, so that there are not a lot of strangers coming in and out of her home. This rental is not for couples. House guest are planned and not over five days. This is not an every weekend extra guest rental.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
A clean roommate to share in the house except for my writing room. Some one who is professional or student and not in the apartment all day during weekly work days. Planned guest are acceptable and not every weekend. Must be extremely neat.
ABOUT ME:
I am eventually planning on moving to Aspen, CO near my son and will be in and out of the apartment and my work space. I just resigned from Parsons School of Design as a Part-time Professor and now working on a textile book and film and different design projects.
