Seeking an educated, employed, and easy-going housemate for a bedroom in a house-share in Woodbridge, NJ. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with 15-20 minute walk to downtown Woodbridge and the train/buses to NYC/Newark/Beaches. House has Ring cameras at every entrance. No smoking of any kind, no drugs, no heavy drinking, no drama. House is currently occupied by two men - one straight, one gay. Open to all genders. This is a safe/sober environment. Four bedroom home. Owner lives downstairs, but all three will share the kitchen, and all three will share the one full bathroom with shower. Owner has private 1/2 bathroom downstairs. Full working kitchen, but it is retro, and no immediate plans to update it. Currently no pets. Those without pets are strongly preferred. Since we are in the age of Covid, it is preferred that housemate view their room as the place they will be a majority of the time in the house. Owner feels housemate compatibility is very important, so time will be spent picking the right candidate. Background/credit check and proof of employment/income required before move-in. Prefer someone who drives (so you can get yourself to shopping, etc.), but garage and driveway use are NOT included. Plenty of street parking. Utilities split evenly. There is a washer/dryer upstairs that you will share with only one other person (until third bedroom is rented or Airbnb'ed in the future). Rent and utilities are firm. You are paying to live in a nice home in a quiet and safe, yet diverse, neighborhood. Seeking applicants of quality, including great communication skills, and an understanding of spirituality/human respect and interaction, although significant housemate interaction is not anticipated: "We all kind of do our own thing" is/should be the prevailing attitude.
