Room For Rent, Possibly 2.

I'm looking for a FEMALE only, 18-early 30’s, who works full time or a student and works etc (prefer someone not working from home) with good communication/ texting. If you’re a student/ not working and your parents would be paying the rent, I want to meet them in person.

Possible dealbreakers…Must be CLEAN, responsible, respectful, trustworthy and pay the rent on time. Sorry NO smoking (but you can smoke outside), NO drugs (including weed), and NO guests in the apartment. Maybe after I get to know you, an occasional guest would be fine but definitely no overnighters.

The room is in a 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor of a 2 family house. It's a smaller room, has a window AC and a decent size closet. It’s furnished with a twin bed, a dresser w/mirror, a desk and a TV. I have bigger tv if you wanted. It’s a shared bathroom and kitchen/ kitchen area only. No living room. Street parking only but I always find something close. Rent includes utilities (heat, hot water, gas, electric and wifi). No splitting bills blah blah blah. Another plus is that there’s laundry in the basement. Cats are welcome. I love dogs too and might consider a small one but I think the apartment might not be big enough.

The house is located right next to the downtown Clifton area, near Main Ave, Lakeview and Piaget. Close to rt 80, 46, 20, 21 and the GSP. It’s also 10 mins away from Montclair State University (MSU). Dunkin, 711, Walgreens, White Castle, Chinese Food, Pizza and much more are all within a mile/ walking distance.

To move in……Proof of income (copy of last 4 pay stubs), a copy of your drivers license/ photo ID, $1540 (First Months Rent $770+ $770 Security Deposit). It's month-to-month, no lease, cash or Zelle only (Rent receipts will be issued). I’m only looking for someone wanting to stay 6 months plus.

I’m not going to sugar coat anything, it’s an older house and I have alot of “projects” lol going on. If you’re looking for a spacious mansion and a jacuzzi, this is not it lol. But if you want an economical, safe place to sleep, do homework/study, cook and relax in a decent friendly neighborhood, send me a TEXT.

Current roommate is just me lol. I’m Mike, friendly, reasonable and down to earth. I consider myself quiet. I work full time and cook a few times a week/grill in the summer (occasionally the winter too). I’m a night owl when I can be, 2 nights a week lol. I like to mess around with my cars and other projects. Other than that I pretty much live a simple life of just plain adulting. I’m an animal lover but have no pets of my own. I don’t drink or do drugs.

*This is also an option on the table. I’m considering renting out the 2nd bedroom. If you have a female friend/ bestie/ relative/ co worker, or want to tag team with someone on this site…same thing… 18-early 30’s that works and has paystubs etc I can rent out that 2nd bedroom. BOTH RENTS WOULD BE LOWERED. . Just an option I’m throwing out there. It’s also furnished with a twin bed, dresser w/ hutch and mirror, a chest, window AC and a TV.
