Looking for Vegan or Vegetarian Roomie in Bed-Stuy

Looking for a fellow vegan or vegetarian to re-sign my lease with in my two-bedroom walkup in Bed-Stuy! Closest train is the C at Kingston-Throop, and we have multiple bus routes within a few blocks that make it easy to see friends in other parts of Brooklyn. There's a cute plant store around the corner and a bagel shop across the street that always a line out the door on weekends.

Rent is currently $1150 for the room, but I expect it to go up slightly when the lease renews, so $1200 is an estimation based on the current rent stabilization guidelines.

About me: I’m Gwen, a 29-year-old non-binary femme. I currently work primarily as an educator and, though I wear many hats, my favorite role is directing a day camp for queer and trans youth. I also freelance as a figure model for art classes and I’m hoping to dive back into more theatre work (which is the bulk of my background) in the fall. In my free time, I love to craft, read queer genre fiction, cheerlead for roller derby, and gradually fill up the apartment with vintage treasures.

Me as a roommate:
1. I have a very cute orange cat named Gideon who you wouldn't have any responsibility for, but you'd be welcome to hang out with. The lease doesn't allow pets, but I can have her since she's legally an ESA.
2. I’m clean, though not unusually so. For example, I don’t like to leave dishes in the sink for more than ~24 hours and I try to at least sweep and wipe down the kitchen and bathroom every week, but sometimes I let it go a bit when I’m super busy.
3. In general, I’m pretty quiet and don’t tend to have friends over more than once or twice a month. I’m not currently dating anyone consistently, but if that changes we could discuss what works for both of us in terms of having partners over.
4. I don’t cook a ton, but I will occasionally leave you fresh vegan baked goods in the fridge if that’s something you enjoy.

My dealbreakers: Smoking or vaping in the apartment (though we do have roof access), eating meat/fish at home (sorry! It just makes sharing a kitchen hard).
