Room Available in Clinton Hill

Looking for someone to take my room in an all-female five bedroom/three bathroom apartment in Clinton Hill. Available for a July 1st move-in with the option to sublet until November 30th and potentially sign on to the lease or complete a lease transfer now.

I’ve lived in this apartment since December 2018, stayed here through the pandemic, and am leaving because I’m moving in with my boyfriend. It’s a great room and location! The prewar building is on a tree-lined street that is a five minute walk to the Clinton-Washington C or G and a ~10 minute walk to Barclays Center, where you can find almost any other train line. There is an elevator, laundry in the basement, and a live-in super. The apartment itself has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, a foyer with room for bike storage, a large living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, and a few restaurants three minutes away as well as lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The bedroom has east-facing windows, so it gets tons of sunlight. You have a closet, modular shelving, and PLENTY of space. I’ve comfortably fit a bed, dresser, a desk with a chair, and two reading chairs. The room can come unfurnished, but you have the option to buy some pieces of furniture (the desk and the mattress and bed frame). The current rent is $1,177.50/month. Heat and hot water included. Internet/gas/electric come out to $65–$100/month per person depending on the season. July rent ($1,177.50) and security deposit ($1,177.50) is required to move in.

The lease signing requires a successful background and credit check, proof of income (at least 40x your portion of the rent), and references from former landlords. ***Starting December 1st, please expect a 3%–5% rent increase.***

Current roommates are women ranging from mid 20s to 30s. Everyone works full time with regular schedules and a mix of WFH and in office. We’re all fully vaccinated/boosted and ask the same from potential roommates and guests. Looking for another female of similar age and lifestyle/schedule who is clean, respectful, easygoing and good with direct communication. We all have busy schedules and treat the apartment as a peaceful home base. LGBTQ+ friendly. Must have steady and reliable income.
