Room in Historic Crown Heights Apartment

Hello! We are Olive, Sam and Teva, and we are looking for a new roommate to replace Olive since she’s moving out of town. We live in a gorgeous historic 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment in Crown Heights.

Some details:
-the room is $1000 + electric and WiFi (about $50/mo)
-the room is about 6x10’ and has a closet.
-Sam has a very sweet cat named Squid (so no more pets please!)
-8 min walk to 2/3/4/5 trains, 5 min walk to to B44 bus
-10 min walk to Brooklyn museum/botanical garden, 15 to prospect park
-the apartment is huge- it has separate living and dining rooms, a large kitchen and bathroom, ample closet and storage space, and a private backyard and porch. In the backyard there’s a garden where we grow veggies and flowers.
-because of the size of the apartment, there is space for creativity! Olive is a seamstress and natural dyer and has found the space very well suited for her creative pursuits.

A little about us:
Sam (28, he/him) is a medical student pursuing his PhD. Teva (25, she/her) works as a freelance producer and server. Olive (26, she/her) is moving to Vermont to farm and she will miss her roommates dearly.

We are pretty social people but we also like our quiet time. Evenings for us tend to consist of cooking dinner or hanging out in the living room. We occasionally throw parties at our house but they’re pretty intimate. We’re all pretty clean people but don’t like to be too anal- we value open communication and respect over everything and we each pull our own weight with household duties. Because of that, we’ve never had any issues with pests, even though it is an old apartment.
