Room Open In 3 Br - Veg Kitchen

If this ad is still up, the room is still available. I'm not responding to "still available?" messages. (The effort you display in this process l likely reflects the effort you'll display as a roommate...)

Here's the important stuff:
- Vegetarian kitchen.  No meat/fish/chicken/etc prepared or stored in the kitchen.
- Low synthetic scents.  This means if you wear a ton of perfume or need to use a lot of scented products, we're not a great match. If you're chill with your perfume, we're probably good.
- No pets

Rent is $1100/month and you will also need a deposit of $1100.  No credit check necessary as you will not go on the lease but will sign a month to month agreement.  (This doesn't ncesessarily mean instability.  The last folks were here for over a year.  I had someone spend nearly six years here.) I have held this lease for over a decade and just signed through 2026.

The room is a decent size and has a window. The closet is huge for a NYC closet and the window gets great light.

I've lived here for over ten years, so things are pretty set up.  The common spaces in the apartment are furnished and reasonably well appointed.  The kitchen already has pots, pans, dishes, etc that you're welcome to use.  The television in the living room is signed in to several streaming services and you're free to watch.  

Laundry is across the street.  There are lots of options for food, grocery shopping, etc in the immediate area. Train is 2 blocks away.

I'm a cis female who works as a therapist in a clinic.  I don't need to be your best friend but I would like to feel comfortable at home.  I am fully vaxxed and would like you to be too. I'm incredibly busy and often not home. It is important to me that things are calm and relaxing at home.

I've been paying for the third room as well, but will need to fill it soon as well. You can be part of the process or not. Up to you. If you have a larger budget and wanna discuss splitting this room for workspace/guest space/etc - I'm open to that conversation.

I don't want to hear about how chill you are, lol.  People who say that they're chill never actually seem to be. I do want to hear about your schedule, your lifestyle, what you value in a home.
