Spacious Room in Flatbush Available March 1

Room available Feb - March (move in date flexible) until July 31
We are looking for someone to join our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in Flatbush. Rent is $1300 per month with utilities usually $120 per month per person.
The bedroom is approximately 8.5 x 11ft and can comfortably fit a queen bed and a desk. Features include: wood floors, high ceilings, a large floor to ceiling north-facing window, and large closet. You would share a bathroom (with bathtub/shower) with one other roommate.
Our common space is spacious and light-filled with a well-equipped kitchen (gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, exhaust fan, and ample cabinet space). The shared space is already furnished, but we are willing to discuss if you are moving with additional pieces. We also have a furnished outdoor balcony.
We’re on the 6th floor. Building amenities include: elevator, washer/dryer units, a small gym, and roof access. Parking spots are available for an extra $250/month.
We are on Church Ave. between Bedford and Rogers. The apartment is a ~6 minute walk from the Church Ave. 2/5 stop and ~10 minutes from the Church Ave B/Q stop. There are B35, B44 and B49 bus stops nearby.
Lots of food spots nearby, local produce/meat/fish markets, the local Flatbush library branch, and a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park (Parkside entrance.)
We are looking for someone who is a direct communicator, very clean (open to scheduled tasks/responsibilities) and responsible. No couples. smoker friendly in non-shared spaces. We don’t have any pets and would like a roommate without pets.
We are not a big party house, but do have (vaccinated) friends and partners over.

Dan: I’m more of an introvert looking for a roomie that is comfortable hanging together at times or doing their own thing. I cook very often and like to keep common spaces clean. I also work from home 4-5 days a week.
Kyle: heyo i’m kyle – i consider myself a relatively outgoing person and spend a lot of time outside the apartment exploring the city (commute into manhattan 3days a week). artist in my free time and would love a companion to go to galleries, raves, cafes, performances, concerts, etc. in the apartment i’m always listening to music, like to watch indie films, hang out, make art, take a bath, smoke. i like to keep a clean and tidy space and don’t cook a ton currently since there’s just so much good food around us .. but i do love to experiment with cooking/baking. and i’m queer so def looking for a roomie who is chill with that. excited to meet you!!!
