We have one bedroom available for rent in our Victorian cottage home. Located in East Flatbush, tree-lined street, approx 8 blocks to the 2/5 @ Flatbush Ave (elevator) and 7 blocks to the B/Q @ Newkirk Ave (no elevator). Less than 30 mins into Manhattan.
Super spacious, three floors, five bedrooms total, chef’s kitchen, washing machine & dryer, huge outdoor space with edible garden and a wrap around indoor front porch for some afternoon sunbathing.
There are several steps to enter the front entrance of the home and 14 steps to the second floor where the bedroom is located.
It’s the coziest and warmest room in the house. Has one large window. Fits a queen size bed. Original wood floors and one deep closet.
*Room is currently furnished with a full sized bed, but can be delivered empty at your request.
*Utilites are included in price. We take care of the majority of the cleaning but we ask the housemates to provide cleaning supplies.
*Bedroom is located on the second floor, assigned shared bathroom is on the first floor.
*First month & security deposit upon move-in.

ABOUT US: My wife and I are F&B consultants & event producers. I’m a trained chef and my partner has worked in the hospitality industry for several years. We have three other housemates that we love and barely see, lol. The home is that spacious! We mostly work from home and on occasion we travel for work.
Home is our safe space. We have minimal company over. On occasion we love to throw a good dinner party. It is a very spacious home, overall quiet and chill vibes. Great space if you work or study from home. If you’re looking for a party house, this isn’t it. We’re all super friendly! The majority of the time we are in our respective spaces, working or studying.
What we’re looking for: Responsible, pays rent on time, treats this old home with love & care, very clean, takes initiative without being asked, chips in for house supplies & maintenance, and has great communication skills. Unfortunately NO PETS. We currently have a small dog who loves humans and belly rubs but isn’t the friendliest with other pets.
