Room for rent in great 3bd apartment in Kensington

Hi! We have a room for rent in a 3 bedroom apartment in Kensington in a great historic elevator building. $1235/month. Utilities and wifi are not included in rent, and are usually about $80-100 a month. We are looking for someone to sign onto a year lease beginning August 1st.
The apartment is a 10 minute walk to Greenwood Cemetery and Prospect Park. There is a grocery store right across the street, and tons of cute restaurants and bars nearby. The entrance to the F/G Church Ave station is right outside the front door - a zero minute walk. There is laundry in the basement and a super on site.
The bedroom is unfurnished, but the common areas are fully furnished. We have two separate sitting areas, a mounted TV, art desk, kitchen table, and 3 shared closets. There isn’t much room for more bulky furniture, but there is plenty of space for other belongings and decorations!
We’re looking for someone respectful, clean, and kind. We like to hang out in the living room, watch movies, cook, and play with our cat Ruby. We value honest communication and mutual respect for our common space. We like to host small gatherings occasionally and love meeting new people!
We welcome cats who get along well with other cats, but sadly no dogs. Please reach out if you think you would be a good fit!
Lanie(myself) and Christine are friends who have known each other since high school, and have been living together in Brooklyn for 5 years.
I am 24, she/her, and recent Pratt grad. I am a writer so I often work from home, and love to make things in my free time. I’m usually reading, listening to podcasts, or watching Law & Order!
Christine, 26, she/her, is an aspiring filmmaker and assistant director. She’s usually busy working on sets, doing PA gigs, or bartending.
