If you're looking for a chill place downtown, you're in luck.
I have a huge (3 bedroom/2 bath) spacious apartment (in Battery Park City) with a large private terrace/garden. The place is ideal for sharing (it’s actually two apartments combined into one amazing space).

In addition to the three bedrooms, there’s a living room and a den/TV room so someone can be watching television in the den while someone else can be reading, listening to music or visiting with friends in the living room or (weather permitting) on the terrace. The terrace is magical… lush plantings, teak dining table, deck chairs, evening lighting, a beverage fridge, and even cozy blankets to use on cooler days./evenings. Back indoors, there’s an eat-in kitchen (seating for 4) as well as a separate dining area (seating for 8).

Along with sharing the common space, you'll have a fully-furnished sunny bedroom (double bed, desk, television, plenty of closet space) and share a bathroom with one other roommate.

The building has a 24/hour doorman, a large laundry room (open 16 hours a day), and the apartment complex has a gym, parking garage, outdoor pool for use in the summer months, and a common roof deck (although our private terrace is so much nicer).

The apartment is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. While we all entertain friends from time-to-time, this is definitely not a party house.

The complex is in a tranquil area, near the waterfront/North Cove Marina, Brookfield Place, the Oculus, PATH trains, a short walk to the Fulton Transit Center, the Financial District, Tribeca, Whole Foods and Eataly, and close to Hudson River Park (esplanade and jogging path) as well as many great restaurants and bars.
