Description
Looking for the last roommate to join Brandon and Janese for this great 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apt on 116th near Adam Clayton in Harlem. Located in a elevator building on the 6th floor. The apartment has a nice layout with a large living room, closet space and lots of windows.
The available room faces the street and is 9.5x14 feet with two big windows and access to the fire escape.
The apartment is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and pubs, like Levain Bakery,, Harlem Tavern and Row House (just a few of my personal favorites!) Within 2 minute walking distance to the C/B train at 116th and the 2/3 train is half a block away..
Laundry is not located in the building or apartment but a few different laundry mats are located within a half block away.
You’d be signing onto a one year lease so you must be working full time and have credit of 650+ to qualify.
Heat and hot water are included and you'd split internet and electricity with your other roommates. (about $50-$75 extra per month).
Your potential roommates:
Janese: I am a 28 y/o female with a 1 1/2 year old female cat. I work for the State during the week and at a restaurant on the weekends. I like to cook a few times a week and I go to the gym everyday after work, so I’m rarely home. When I’m home I like to relax in my bedroom.
Brandon: I am a 26 year old gay male whose pronouns are “he/him/his”. I work full time in the fashion industry as a Studio Experience Coordinator for tailors and alteration specialist. I work out often and am 100% plant based.
I, Sarah, am a professional roommate matchmaker with Perfect Strangers (look us up on yelp- we are the real deal!). We pair individuals who are looking to move into a new apartment but need help connecting to awesome roommates to sign a lease with.
Please message me with a bit of information about yourself, where you are currently living, why you are moving, what you do professionally, and when you are free to view the apartment. Please also send me your email so I can send you a video of the unit.
If you like the apartment, I will then, personally, introduce you to the roommates. Everyone must meet before moving forward. If you like the roommate and apartment then 1st months rent, and 1 month security, plus a $50 roommate application fee.
