Giant Garden-facing bedroom (~9ft x 17ft), Furnished & move-in ready, roughly with a large, walk-in closet (5’ x 4.5’). Available feb 1st, 2024.

•Furnishings Included: full sized bed (linens upon request), nightstand, 5-drawer dresser, desk, chair, curtains, bookshelf, shelving, walk-in closet (with hangers).
•Bathroom: You would be sharing a bathroom with 1 other roommate.

•Price: Rent ($1450) + gas/electric ($35-$80/month) + internet ($20/month).
Due Upfront: 1st months rent ($1450) + security deposit ($1000) + Internet ($20) = $2470 required before move in.

• SubLease-Term: month-to-month; Subleaser or subleasee have the flexibility to end the sublease given 30-days notice.
*Rent must be paid in full-month installments on the at the end of the previous month.

The Apartment:
•3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, second-floor walk-up in a quaint 4-unit building
• Large living room and dining area, kitchen island, & lots of kitchen storage. Kitchen supplies are communal.
• Dishwasher & smart thermostat (central AC/heating)
•No laundry in unit but there is a laundry mat 2 blocks away.

Pets: We have one cat who spends most the time in my room. No additional pets please.

Current Roommate: I (30/F) am young professional and have lived in the apartment since 2019. Currently I work from home 2-3 dats a week. I have equal passions for puzzles, cheap liquor, gardening, and laughing at my own jokes. I like to keep the place tidy and may host small gatherings from time to time. I mostly like to keep to myself in my room but I am not opposed to the occasional roomie chill time. The second roommate ( 22/F) is working as a teacher and will be living here until July 2024.

Prospective Roommate(s): Looking for a roommate who is independent, responsible, considerate, easy-going and communicative. An ideal roommate values privacy, are respectful of boundaries, and have experience living in shared spaces. Proof of income may be requested per individual.

Neighborhood: Located on a quiet and residential East Harlem block (119th and Pleasant). Available room faces a community garden (extremely quiet!). Relatively easy street-parking. Quick walk to East River Plaza (, Costco, Aldi, Planet Fitness)
