Room in Recently Renovated Apartment

Hi! We're a chill group of students looking for someone to take over a room that will be opening up on August 1st. The apartment is a 6 bedroom, two bathroom apartment with an elevator and a dishwasher. The 137th St 1 train is two blocks away, and City College is right up the street.

All of us are very easygoing and down to earth - we've been living together for the past year, and we're really good about communicating, sharing responsibilities, and working through any issues without a problem.

The room itself is medium-sized and has a decent-sized closet. The view from the window is beautiful, and each of the bedrooms gets a lot of light. You'll be sharing a shower with two other people, but both toilets are shared as needed, obviously.

You'll be living in the apartment as a roommate and not on the lease, so we don't require a credit check. I'd just like to see proof of income and get a feel for your personality before you move in. :) We do need the deposit of $1,060 for the landlord, which will be returned to you at the end of your stay, as well as the first months' rent of $1,060, so $2,120 total.

We're totally open to new pets - we already have two (very sweet and well-behaved) cats in the apartment.
