Jennifer: Originally from the Bronx, I’ve spent the last five years in Houston pursuing my education and enjoying the reprieve from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Now that I’m nearing the end of my studies, I’ve decided it’s time to move back home to be closer to family and friends. In my free time, I’m an avid reader and science enthusiast, and I’m also a bit of a coffee snob. I love planting and gardening, which I find to be incredibly therapeutic and a great way to bring a touch of nature into urban living. On weekends, you can often find me hiking the trails around the city or planning my next adventure—whether it's a weekend getaway or a day trip to explore new places. Now that I’m back in NYC, I work at a coffee shop in the mornings and a restaurant at night, which keeps my days dynamic and exciting. I spend most of my days out in the city, soaking in the energy and discovering new spots. Although I don't have any pets, I enjoy visiting the local parks and community gardens.
In terms of living together, I’m known to be a friendly and considerate roommate. If you’d like, I can provide recommendation letters from past roommates who’ve had positive experiences sharing a space with me. I also value my alone time and understand the importance of personal space. I’m currently staying with family in the Bronx and am eager to find a place where I can continue to enjoy the vibrant life of the city while having a peaceful and respectful home environment.
Zaniah: I’m from New York, I currently have a leopard gecko, named guppy and I like cats. I’m work in a school with kids 6-9 with autism. I like hanging with my friends, painting, and cooking. I also go to school for early childhood special education. I have a boyfriend who lives out of state that I’ve going out with for 2 years in October.
