Master Room In Midtown East - Only One Roomie!

$2100 master bedroom in a 2 bed/1 bath apartment in midtown East/turtle bay (hoping to apply for the lease ASAP, but move-in would be September - however first month's rent plus security deposit equal to one month's rent will be due upon signing for the lease)

Requirements: Must be making 106k or more - NO GUARANTORS (I had a girl who planned on using one drop out last minute bc her guarantor backed out and I just really don’t want the headache again) also no pets, sorry!

About the apt: very spacious for manhattan standards, deep closets and perfect amount of storage for 2 people🥳 On a peaceful & tree lined side street, (54th and second). Next to the E, M, 5, and 6, plus buses and lots of citi bike stations. Central Park is a 20 min walk away! And the new East river walkway is a 4 min walk away!!!Convenient location: Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, tjmaxx, equinox, blink fitness, and a ton of other fitness studios, bars, and restaurants are close by. There’s also a great nail salon RIGHT across the street that does $30 gel manicures 🤠 and at the end of the block a cute local bar that has coffee, brews, and wines and a ton of outdoor seating that people are always working at or chilling with their dogs! 2nd floor walk up in a well maintained building. No laundry but there are several laundromats close by. The apartment is really charming and has a great vibe to it, and since we’re on a side street it’s honestly super quiet. Views of the trees from the bedrooms and can always hear birds chirping 😌🫶 I personally LOVE this neighborhood and prefer this over being downtown by a milestone! It’s still lively but it’s much quieter at night and soooo much cleaner 🙌🏼

About me: 28, wfh currently(looking to switch to hybrid hopefully soon), have been in nyc for the past two years (I’m subletting the smaller room currently and love this apt so much I don’t wanna leave, especially in this current market). I’m very much a girls girl and love music, thrifting, interior design, spending time with my girlfriends, occasionally going to fitness classes, bingeing a show with a good glass of wine and my roomie (if that’s your vibe!), reading, trying new vegan spots, etc. I like to have a good balance of wholesome activities as well as fun dancey nights out 💃🥳 having a kind and considerate roommate who values open communication and having a clean & cozy space to live in is important to me. I like having my friends over at the apt for lowkey nights sometimes so won’t mind if you do too as long as it’s communicated and there’s not ragers being thrown! Hoping to find someone I can be friends with and occasionally hang out with, while also having our own lives and being able to be respectful and mindful of boundaries 😊
