This is a modest but comfortable, attractive, safe, clean, drama-free, small 2-bedroom apartment in a lovely neighborhood in the East 80s. This is a space that is relaxing and quiet when it’s time to rest, sleep, or work.

Seeking a roommate for the 2nd bedroom, who is:
-Female
-age 30+
-COVID vaccinated and boosted
-must WANT, LOVE, and DO what’s required, to have a CLEAN and NEAT space
-a non-smoker, if anyone still smokes

I am a professional female aged 50+, amiable, trustworthy, responsible, good communicator, low-key, sometimes up for a chat, and sometimes want to retire to my own space for some downtime. Appreciative of my roommates who help to pay the rent.

———-What do I mean by “clean?”———-
*communal areas are neat and clutter-free most of the time
*bathroom and kitchen look clean, and are decently sanitary (we take turns doing a weekly scrub, and always wipe up after our use daily)
*if you make a mess, clean it up—for example—grease and crumbs are wiped off the stove and counter after cooking—clean the hair out of the drain (gag) after a shower
*share housekeeping duties equitably

*painted white
*is smaller, but not tiny, can accommodate a bed (full or queen), nightstand, and dresser, at least, with additional space for a small desk or bookshelf
*good, normal-sized closet, 40” wide (SEE PHOTO)
*sunny window facing quiet street with nice view of trees (SEE PHOTO)
*unfurnished

Rest of apartment:
*totally furnished
*kitchen has all dishes, appliances and cooking implements, plus a dishwasher
*living room has smart tv, comfortable couch

Building:
*Walk-up, 3 flights.
*The Super is helpful and responsive.
*I've been here for years with no problems.

Neighborhood:
*Drop-off laundry and dry cleaner 2 doors away.
*Quiet, pretty, lots of trees, steps from the East River Esplanade and beautiful Carl Schurz Park.
*10-15 min walk to the Q or 4/5/6 trains or NYC East River Ferry to Astoria, Brooklyn and Wall St, *handy buses around the corner. Citibike a block away.
*Walk to Hunter College and hospitals. Great for students (affordable and quiet for studying).

To move in, you would need:
*first month's rent/utilities + 1 month security deposit (total $2,390).
