Spacious Room for Rent

Hello all!!

My roommate (25, M) and I (25, F) are looking for someone to occupy the master bedroom in our 3 bedroom apartment.

The room is spacious, bright and has its own bathroom with a shower. As you can see, the room is quite large and fits a queen bed, nightstands, a bookcase as well as a desk. We share the living room and fully-stocked kitchen. However, my roommate and I are very busy and we’re constantly in and out of the house. We’re both clean, are mindful of one another and are very friendly. The room is located on the 31st floor of a high-rise with many amenities. There’s a giant laundry room on the plaza level, a gym, a mailroom that recieves our packages, and lovely maintenance workers that have always tended to our needs in a timely and professional manner. After living here for 4 years, I’ve gotten to know most of them and they always greet me with a smile. The building is super safe. We have doormen in the lobby and security in the plaza 24 hours a day.

As for the neighborhood, the Q is 2 minutes away on the same block and the 6 train is about 6-7 minute walk on the next block over. The M15 SBS Bus stop is right by the Q, about 2 minutes away from the building. Also, there’s a wide variety of bars and restaurants to explore in the area. Central Park is about a 10-15 min walk with several museums like the MET and the Guggenheim within walking distance. Overall, it’s a lovely neighborhood to live in and it’s safe.

We’re looking for someone who can help us take over the lease (make 40x rent) or has a guarantor that makes 40x the rent (we have 1 guarantor and we would need a 2nd one). The room will be available mid-August but we would need to renew the lease a few weeks in advance. Utilities are not included but they range from $70-150 (one summer we were a little overzealous with the AC but 90% of the time its been way less than $100). We also have a house keeper that comes every other week to clean the common area and charges $25 per hour which we split evenly.

We love living here and would hate to have to leave. Don’t take my word for it, come take a look yourself :)
