1 Available Room in Large Upper East Side 3br

Looking for a roommate to fill 1 of the bedrooms in my 3BR apartment on the Upper East Side on 96th Street and Lexington Avenue (153 East 96th Street). The room is approximately 120 square feet and measures 12'4"x11'6" with a closet built off the wall.

Rent is $1,700 per month on an existing lease (you will not be signing a new lease), and utilities are generally between $75-$100 per person per month for high speed 1 gigabit per second internet and electric (lower in the winter). Room comes with a window AC unit installed.

As of now, I'm looking for a roommate to fill the extra room starting in July until December 1st. My lease ends December 1st, although I will most likely be signing another year lease starting December 1st for 2025 so you could stay longer then 5 months if you'd like.

The building is located 30 feet from the 96th st. 6 subway station and two blocks away from the 96 st. Q subway station. The unit is on the 4th floor and there is an elevator in the building as well as a Hercules operated laundry room in the basement that has refillable cards that you can use a credit card to fill.

This is a very spacious apartment with a separate, nicely sized kitchen with a dishwasher, a large dining room, living room with tv, and 1 full bath.

I'm asking for first and last month's rent since you will not have to sign a lease, and a $122 dollar security deposit which will be returned to you whenever you move out.
