My roommate is moving out and I am needing someone to take over her room. She would like to sublease for 3 months until its time to renew the lease. Move in is June 3rd, lease renewal is September 1st. She is interested in leaving the shelving she has built into the bedroom if you would like to keep it, and she is also looking to sell her air conditioner.
Beautiful neighborhood, super safe and quiet. The apartment is on the fourth floor, and there is no elevator in the building, so you will have to walk up three flights of stairs. 12 minute walk to the 4/5/6 train and 8 minute walk to the Q train.
As of right now, rent is $1,350 for the room but the building did confirm that rent will likely go up a bit this year but did not specify how much. Anything more we can discuss. A deposit was held, which was one month rent from either of us so you will likely have to pay out my roommate the $1,350.
