Affordable room in 2-BD apartment

The entrance to the apartment is off-street and private. The available room has a lock on the door and its own key. All utilities but internet are included. All the owner (a local businessman and great landlord who lives with his family upstairs) needs is first month's rent and a security deposit. That, and 30 days notice before you move out.

I'm a 30-year-old guy working as a videogame developer at a studio in Melville. I spend most weekends with my girlfriend in the city. Still, we will share a kitchen, living room, and bathroom during the week, so tell me a little about yourself in your reply.

I like to keep things friendly, chill, respectful, and clean at home. I've got experience keeping things awkwardness-free while living with women, so if you're comfortable sharing space with a guy, go ahead and reach out.
