About the apartment:

We have an opening in our peaceful, light-filled Rego Park apartment, a 5 minute walk to the Rego Center (costco, Aldi, etc.) and a two block walk to the R/M!

The room gets great natural light all day, and you can easily fit a queen bed, dresser, desk, and a chair. There’s also a built in closet and if interested our outgoing roommate might be interested in leaving some of her furniture behind if you’re looking (none pictured but vanity, dresser, bed frame and bed all a possibility)!

The rest of the apartment features hardwood floors, an updated kitchen with a gas stovetop as well as a renovated bathroom with a shower/tub combo (YES THERE’S A TUB) that has plenty of builtins for all your showering products. We have a BEAUTIFUL spacious balcony for us to enjoy all summer long, as well as a ~fully~ furnished apartment. Perhaps best of all: we have central heating! It’s perfect for those cold city nights, and to tie us over during the summer we do have that window AC unit!

About us, your would-be roommates:

We’re a nice pair of work driven humans, Sammie and Edward! Sammie has been here since 2022 and Edward will be joining the lease this summer as well. We are responsible, healthful, courteous, clean, and friendly; we're looking for someone who's similarly stable and has their shit together, but is also not a complete killjoy. We split electric and wifi, all other utilities are included in the rent, those two average $40 per person most months; we do keep the apartment tidy but are open to hiring a housekeeper every 4-6 weeks to deep-clean. Our neighbors are quiet but quite friendly, with no rowdy parties or obnoxious music drifting through the walls.

About the neighborhood:
We’re situated on the residential side of Queens Blvd with an Aldi, Costco Panera, Marshalls and more a short walk away. A 1o minute bus ride manhattan bound takes you to the Queens Center Mall, and a bus towards Jamaica takes you to the heart of Forest Hills! Forest Hills has a great night life with the Stadium always hosting events of different kinds, as well as all the food and shopping of your dreams ranging from Target to Bath and Body works, Banana Republic to Old Navy.
