The neighborhood has been rated very safe. I am exactly 20 minutes to the Metro North (by foot) and 7 minutes (by car.)... Metro North will take you to Grand Central station (42nd street in Manhattan in 30 minutes . It is a beautiful scenic ride on a clean safe train. What i am looking for in a roommate is a professional, someone who has a job, and is serious about his/her life. What i don't want is someone who smokes pot all day, and sleeps in every day. This is a house full of people who work, and appreciate the fact that at 9-10 pm they can go to sleep without worrying about noise. This is not a party house. It is a "get ahead in your life" house. You get free electricity, water, refrigerator, TV, and desk with chair, and small fee for internet. This is a great deal.
